Warm up your winter with a chocolate tour of Freeport, Maine!

Please purchase a ticket for 5^th annual Freeport Chocolate Festival to join Wilbur’s of Maine and 11 other chocolatiers for a day of chocolate in Freeport! Check-in on March 7^th will be at the Freeport Chamber Office, including time slots for ticket holders to create a chocolate medallion with decadent toppings at our chocolate factory. Many downtown Freeport businesses will be hosting pop-up chocolatier shops with samples.

Join us for our annual Love Bugs event at the factory! Get creative as you decorate chocolate-covered sandwich cookies with fun candies to design two adorable Love Bugs to take home. Cost is $7 per pair. Tickets are required and can be purchased here.

Choose your toppings and favorite chocolate to create your own personalized Chocolate Bar! $6 Per ticket/chocolate bar.

“Spectators” can come with ticket holders and do not need to purchase a ticket.  Each ticket holder will make one chocolate bar. Choices for chocolate at the event will include milk or dark chocolate, and the inclusions/toppings may vary by day. We often offer a choice of 3 toppings from a variety of nuts, candies and dried fruits.

We may be able to accommodate walk-ins, but if the slots are filled we will not have room. To ensure space at the event and for your scheduling convenience, please purchase your tickets in advance here

Be sure to select “local pick-up” at check out so you will not be charged shipping.  There is nothing to pick-up, however, just have the name used to purchase tickets ready when you arrive for the event.

The Maine 3 Railers “O”-Gauge Model Railroad Club will be at the factory showing off a model train village that you and your children can explore!  Stand and watch or take a turn at the controls, this little village is a bit of nostalgia you don’t want to miss!  Free to all visitors!

We will have pre-made chocolate shells ready for you to fill with cocoa mix and marshmallows, then seal together to create cocoa magic! This fun activity is perfect for kids and makes a great homemade gift or cozy treat. You will package your cocoa bomb and take it home with you, we will not be enjoying in the store.

Cost is $7 per cocoa bomb.
